I was able to successfully download it from amazon but when I got to play it the download failed because the external storage is full I have deleted some stuff but to no avail.
Apr 6, 25, , 13, It wouldn't be the "External" storage that would be full but the "Internal" storage. Apps run off and use the "Internal" storage. The only thing you can do is clear off space on the device to make more room for it. If you have a SD card, then move things like photos, files, music, etc. Or you can also uninstall any apps you don't really use or clear up the data on some apps. Like not keeping every text message you ever get, or every email, the history to every site visited, etc.

It's said that 9 out of 10 Android users have been facing the insufficient space on Android while installing an app or whatever, even though there is a plenty of storage space on both the internal memory or external SD card.
How did the failure come? Primarily, you got to know how an Android app installation or update takes effect. Under normal circumstances, the first version 1. Now you ought to get the point. When an updated app is about to install, whereas the old APK file was not deleted, and it's really happened a lot amongst many Android devices. So, how are you going to troubleshoot the wrongly reported "insufficient storage" error? Usually, just reboot your device once or twice would clear the message away, but it'll surely come back soon.
We know it's a nightmare for Android players not being able to install desired game apps, music apps, video apps and others due to such irritating prompt.
If your device was set up with an SD card formatted as Adoptable Storage, then you probably have lost the files as with Adoptable Storage formatting. Also, there is not likely anything wrong with your device, but rather something that you have done that is not jiving with how the Android OS is set up or working. I already checked every setting I could find, in both the app and general setting, and turned it off and on but nothing changed.
Where before the factory reset there were more on that list including Explore, which is where my downloads folder used to be. How can I fix it? The one I was using before the reset was corrupted. What now? After installing a 3rd party file manager like you suggested I figured out that my internal storage was the problem and managed to fix it.
How exactly did you fix it? I have the same issue in my yt3-x50f, I haven't been able to download anything since the start of the month. Now I can't even install new apps.
I have downloaded vothfile managers but I don't know what to do next. Why not start by answering some of the questions that were asked of the OP. Your "situation" is so vauge, how is anyone supposed to guess at your problem?
But explain your situation as completely as you can. What is going on. Have you looked at the Help menu in any of the file manager apps? Have you tried to Google about how to use the default Android file manager?
Hello, thank you for your answer. I was out of town so it took me a while to get back to this issue. I first realize that when i tried to save a pic using chrome, but later I realize that it was a general issue My son uses the app Markers to draw, but he cannot save the drawings. Also, i cannot delete the files that i downloaded earlier. I looked everywhere for options related to securing the storage without success. I tried to reset the permissions to chrome and the other apps but that didn't work.
I feel that I lost that battle, I did a factory reset but the issues continued. The good thing is that randomly works, so if I need to install some app, I reboot the tablet until it works.
